Description

Total Response Time is measured from when dispatch receives the call until the first pumper arrives on scene. Fire Rescue's goal is for Total Response Time to be under 7 minutes, 90% of the time. Total Response Time is comprised of Communication Time, Turnout Time and Travel Time.
Fire Full First Alarm measures from the time the first unit left station until 16 firefighters are on scene. Fire Rescue's target is to deploy a complement of 16 firefighters on scene 8 minutes or less, 90% of the time.
*The Fire Rescue Master Plan was approved in July 2012, which included a change in first full response from 14 firefighter's on scene to 16 firefighter's on scene. The data from July 2012 has been updated to reflect this change in methodology.
